Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Joseph Selobyt, who appeared before the Honorable James M. Demarzo J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, on December 2, 2016.
Selobyt, age 47, of Frankford was sentenced to eight years state prison with 40 months of parole ineligibility, 844 days for time served in jail, $3,685.00 in court fines and a ten year loss of driver’s license.
He pled guilty on August 23, 2016 to the second degree crime of possession with intent to distribute heroin and to fourth degree driving while suspended and to driving while intoxicated.
Selobyt was represented by Steven Kossup, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jerome P. Neidhardt.
