Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Jennifer Nicholson, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on November 18, 2016.
Nicholson, age 29, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to four years Probation with credit for 122 days served. She also must undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, complete 100 hours of community service, pay $760 in restitution and have no contact with the victim, submit to random urine monitoring and pay $155 in court fines and fees.
She pled guilty on September 6, 2016, to third degree Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
Between May 24 and June 1, 2014 the defendant used a stolen credit card to obtain goods and services at multiple businesses in Morris and Sussex Counties.
Nicholson was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
