Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Kimberly Vandermark, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on November 4, 2016.
Vandermark, age 21 of Wantage, was sentenced to two years of probation and was given credit for 12 days served. She was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made from same, complete 50 hours of community service work, fulfill all PTI obligations, and pay fines and fees totaling $1,205.00.
She pled guilty on September 26, 2016, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime.
The defendant was in possession of eight Alprazolam tablets that were not prescribed for her.
