Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the conviction of Anthony Girgenti, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton.
Girgenti, age 56 of Hackettstown, was convicted on November 3, 2016, after a jury trial of Driving While Suspended, a fourth degree crime. He was also found guilty of the motor vehicle offenses of Driving While Suspended and Failure to Produce a Valid Insurance Card.
On March 3, 2015, Girgenti was convicted in the Mansfield Township Municipal Court of his third offense of Driving While Intoxicated and his Driver's License was suspended as a part of his sentence. On August 28, 2015, Girgenti operated a motor vehicle in Andover Township during that period of Driver's License suspension.
Girgenti was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
