Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on October 20, 2016, by James Sweller.
Sweller, age 40, of Newton, New Jersey, pled guilty to four (4) counts of Burglary, a third degree offense; one (1) count of defrauding a drug test, a third degree offense; one (1) count of possessing an instrument designed to defraud a drug test, a third degree offense; and one (1) count of violating community supervision for life. Sentencing is presently anticipated for December 16, 2016.
Sweller was represented by William J. Oake, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie C. LaCarrubba.
