Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on September 26, 2016, by David Conover.
Conover, age 25 of Hopatcong, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime, and a Violation of Probation. Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 28, 2016.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to possessing heroin in Hopatcong on May 23, 2016.
The case was investigated by Sgt. Michael O’Shea and Patrolman Christopher Lotito of the Hopatcong Police Department.
Conover was represented by Erik Hassing, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
