Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Michael Gable Jr. who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on September 9, 2016.
Gable, age 43 of Cuddebackville, New York, was sentenced to three years of probation with credit for time served. He was ordered to submit a DNA sample and pay fines/fees of $1,335.00.
He pled guilty on July 18, 2016, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime, and Speeding, a motor vehicle offense.
On July 21, 2015, the defendant was stopped for a motor vehicle violation in Lafayette and found to be in possession of 83 wax paper folds of heroin.
Gable was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Stephanie LaCarrubba.
