Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Mark Friedman, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on July 15, 2016.
Friedman, age 53, of Andover, NJ, was sentenced to 3 years New Jersey State Prison, with credit for 306 days time served, submission of DNA, continued Megan’s Law registration, no contact with victims, fees/fines.
He pled guilty on May 18, 2016, to one count of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (a fourth degree offense), one count of Forgery (a third degree offense), and one count of Failure to Register (a third degree offense).
Mark Friedman was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
