Press Release - Plea of Bradley Witten

PRESS RELEASE

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on August 1, 2016, by Bradley Witten.

     Witten, age 22 of Stockholm, pled guilty to Theft, a third degree crime.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for September 9, 2016.

     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking a crossbow from a barn in Hardyston Township in November of 2015.

     The case was investigated by Detective Michael Masters of the Hardyston Township Police Department. 

     Witten was represented by Janine Cerra, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
