Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on July 18, 2016, by Michael Gable.
Gable, age 43 of Monticello, New York, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for September 9, 2016.
On July 21, 2015, the defendant was stopped for a motor vehicle violation in Lafayette. In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to having 83 wax paper folds of heroin on his person.
The case was investigated by Trooper D. J. Rubino of the New Jersey State Police.
Gable was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
