Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Amanda Walters, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 24, 2016.
Walters, age 37, of Sussex, New Jersey, was sentenced to three years New Jersey State Prison on two counts, Jail Credit for 217 Days, $50 VCCO, $75 SNSF, $30 LEOTEF, on both charges. Community Supervision for Life converted to Parole Supervision for Life immediately upon release.
She pled guilty on May 2, 2016, to two counts of Violation of Special Sentence (Community Supervision for Life) (a Third Degree Crime).
Walters was represented by William Oake, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent Rafuse.
