Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation and an indictment before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 20, 2016, by Adam Pfeifer.
Pfeifer, age 23 of Green, pled guilty to two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime, and Simple Assault, a disorderly persons offense. Sentencing is presently anticipated for August 5, 2016.
On October 9, 2015, New Jersey State Police were dispatched to a residence for a well-being check. Upon arrival, they were advised of people fighting inside the residence. In pleading guilty, Defendant admitted to punching and kicking another man and to being in possession of cocaine. This case was investigated by Trooper Szwech of the New Jersey State Police.
On February 24, 2016, New Jersey State Police responded to a domestic violence call in Green Township. Defendant was engaged in a loud argument with a woman. In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of heroin. This case was investigated by Trooper J. Smith of the New Jersey State Police.
