Press Release - Sentencing of Kori Bodle

Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Kori Bodle, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 27, 2016.

Bodle, age 26 of Ogdensburg, was sentenced to three years of probation and credit for 13 days of time served.  She was ordered to perform 70 hours of community service, to attend and successfully complete an inpatient treatment program, and to attend NA/AA three times per week upon completion of the inpatient program. 
She pled guilty on April 25, 2016, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime.

The defendant was in possession of four bags of heroin on November 6, 2015.

Bodle was represented by Steven Insley, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Seana Pappas.
