Press Release - Plea of Mark Friedman

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 18, 2016, by Mark Friedman.

     Friedman, age 53, of Andover, New Jersey, pled guilty to one count of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a fourth degree crime; one count of Forgery, a third degree crime; and, one count of Failure to Register, having been previously convicted of a sexual offense requiring registration under the New Jersey Sex Offender Act, knowingly failed to register with the Byram Township Police Department, a third degree crime.

     Friedman was represented by, Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.
