Press Release - Plea of Frank J. Casella

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on May 10, 2016, by Frank J. Casella.

     Casella, age 56 of Sparta, pled guilty to Obstructing the Administration of Law, a fourth degree crime.

     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted that on December 31, 2015, he physically interfered with a police officer who had been summoned to investigate the assault of a Crystal Springs security officer in Hardyston Township.

     The case was investigated by Sgt. Edward O’Rourke of the Hardyston Township Police Department.

     Casella was represented by Riza I. Dagli, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
