Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Robert Norman, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, on May 13, 2016.
Norman, age 32, of Wantage was sentenced to four years state prison with two years parole ineligibility, 143 days jail credit for time serve, a six month loss of driver’s license and $2,330.00 in court fines.
He pled guilty on February 29, 2016 to the third degree crimes of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.
He admitted to selling heroin on July 22, 2015, in Newton, to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force. He also admitted to selling heroin on December 2, 2015, in Franklin, to an individual cooperating with the Franklin Police Department.
Norman was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jerome P. Neidhardt.
