Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Jesica Pintueles, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 24, 2016.
Pintueles, age 22 of Hopatcong, was sentenced to two years of non-custodial probation. She was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service work with credit for 25 hours already performed. She must write a letter of apology (300 words) to the victim within 15 days and was ordered to make restitution of $150. She must pay total fines and penalties of $155.00.
She pled guilty on February 8, 2016, to Criminal Trespass, a fourth degree crime, Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, a fourth degree crime, and theft, a disorderly persons offense.
Defendant conspired with another to distribute marijuana on January 12, 2015, in Hopatcong. On September 4, 2015, she entered a Hopatcong home and took a container filled with change (U.S. currency).
Pintueles was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Shaina Brenner.
