Press Release - Sentencing of Francis Eginton

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Francis Eginton, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 11, 2016.

     Eginton, age 48 of Sandyston, was sentenced to one year of probation.  He must pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $117.00 and fines and fees totaling $625.00.  

     He pled guilty on February 26, 2016, to Receiving Stolen Property, a disorderly persons offense. 

     Eginton received the proceeds of purchases made with stole credit cards. 

     Eginton was represented by David Nufrio, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura Nazzaro.
