Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Crystal Frisbie, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 11, 2016.
Frisbie, age 43 of Franklin, was sentenced to four years of probation concurrent with a Morris County sentence. She was ordered to report twice a week for the first 90 days. She must attend NA/AA meetings, obtain a sponsor and attend Intensive Outpatient Treatment at The Center for Prevention and Counseling. She must pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $117.00, and fines and fees totaling $155.00.
She pled guilty on December 21, 2015, to Burglary and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, both third degree crimes.
On May 10, 2015, the defendant took a small purse from the front seat of a vehicle and then used two credit cards from the purse to make purchases of beer at Wantage Liquors, cigarettes and a Mother’s Day card from Rite Aid, and cigarettes from Quick Chek.
Frisbie was represented by Leanne Healy, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Laura Nazzaro.
