Vetrano, Parrott to Lead Sussex County Freeholder Board for 2009

The Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders has unanimously elected Glen Vetrano and Jeffrey M. Parrott to serve as Director and Deputy Director, respectively, of the Freeholder Board in 2009.

The Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders has unanimously elected Glen Vetrano and Jeffrey M. Parrott to serve as Director and Deputy Director, respectively, of the Freeholder Board in 2009. Director Vetrano has served as County Freeholder from March, 2000 to November, 2000, resuming as County Freeholder in February, 2002 to the present, while Deputy Director Parrott has served from January, 2008 to the present.  
 
Freeholder Director Vetrano is a resident of Hampton Township and is a Battalion Chief with the Paterson Fire Department. Freeholder Deputy Director Parrott resides in Wantage Township and is the owner and broker of an independent real estate company.
 
The actions took place during the Freeholder Board's Annual Re-Organization Meeting held at the Sussex County Historic Court House on January 2, 2009 before a large crowd of family members and well-wishers.
 
Newly-elected Freeholder, Phillip R. Crabb, a resident of Franklin Borough, took his oath of office at the Annual Re-Organization Meeting.   Freeholder Crabb was first appointed to the Board of Chosen Freeholders in February, 2008 to fill the vacancy created when former Freeholder Gary R. Chiusano left office to assume his elected position as New Jersey State Assemblyman, representing District 24.
 
Regular meetings of the Board of Chosen Freeholders are held the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month (unless otherwise noticed) at 5:00 p.m., in the Freeholder Meeting Room, located at the Sussex County Administrative Center, One Spring Street, Newton, New Jersey. The public is invited to attend.
