Press Release - Plea of Haider Khan

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern III, J.S.C., at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on August 28, 2017, by Haider Khan.
     Khan, age 20 of Parlin, New Jersey, pled guilty to Burglary and Use of a Stolen Credit Card, both third degree crimes.  Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 13, 2017.
     In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to entering a parked car in Newton and using a stolen credit card to make purchases on May 21, 2017.
     The case was investigated by Patrolman Russell Post and Detective Thomas Muller of the Newton Police Department.
     Khan was represented by William Oake, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Donald F. Cox, Jr.
