Press Release - Plea of Jakub Waclawski

     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an accusation before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on August 1, 2017 by Jakub Waclawski.
     Waclawski, age 29, of Hopatcong, pled guilty to fourth degree Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. 
     Sentencing is presently scheduled for September 15, 2017.
     The defendant admitted he struck a Hopatcong Police officer when they responded to a 9-1-1 call at the defendant’s Hopatcong residence. 
     Waclawski was represented by George Daggett, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
