Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the sentencing of Kile Burke, who appeared before the Honorable William J. McGovern, III, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on June 9, 2017.
Kile Burke, age 28, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, was sentenced to three years State Prison with credit for 499 days served. He also must have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family, no unsupervised contact with minors under the age of 16, and pay standard fines and fees. At his release he will be required to register under Megan’s Law and will be supervised under Parole Supervision for Life.
He pled guilty on March 15, 2017, to Endangering the Welfare of a Child (a third degree crime) and Criminal Sexual Contact (a fourth degree crime).
Defendant was represented by Erik Hassing, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Jerome P. Neidhardt.
