Put "Life" Back into Living by "Taking Control of Your Health!"

(Newton, NJ) Adults of any age, who are dealing with long term health-related conditions, as well as caregivers of loved ones who experience these challenges, are invited to participate in "TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH," a FREE six-week workshop series sponsored by the Sussex County Department of Human Services, Division of Senior Services. During the 2 ½ hour sessions each week, participants will learn how to alleviate pain and fatigue, deal with difficult emotions, develop healthy eating and safe exercising habits, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, and basically, "get more out of life." The program includes a FREE manual, "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions."

"TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH" will be offered January 27, 2012 through March 2, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Sussex County Community College, One College Hill, Newton, NJ. Space is limited.
