eBooks - The library offers downloadable eBooks that can be used on a wide variety of eReaders, tablets and computers. eBooks can be accessed 24 hours a day by following the links to Overdrive or Axis 360 from the library's home page - www.sussexcountylibrary.org.

Audiobooks - In addition to a large collection of books on CD, the library also offers downloadable audiobooks for use on iPods and MP3 devices. Audiobooks can be downloaded any time of the day or night by following the link to Overdrive from the library's home page - www.sussexcountylibrary.org.

Email Notification for Holds and Overdues - Most patrons are now notified by email when items placed on hold are available and when items are overdue. Any patron with an active email address on file will also be sent a reminder before items are due giving them time to return or renew the items before fines are incurred. Patrons with no email are still notified by phone.

AquaBrowser - The library's online catalog allows patrons to browse the collection, manage their accounts and place holds any time of the day or night.

Internet - All branches have a number of public computers for adults and children, and free WIFI access.

Meeting Rooms - All libraries have a meeting room that can be reserved, at no charge, by individuals and not-for-profit organizations for educational, informational, and cultural reasons.

Proctoring - All libraries proctor exams for patrons.

Open Borrowing Program - With a Sussex County Library card, patrons have borrowing privileges at the Sparta Public Library, and the libraries of Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Warren, Essex, Hudson, Monmouth, Union, Somerset (not all libraries) and Middlesex Counties. A green Open Borrowing sticker, which is free, is necessary to participate. The sticker can be obtained at any Sussex County Library.

Library Home Page - The library's webpage (www.sussexcountylibrary.org) offers many services available from your home: access to the library's catalog and your library account, electronic databases, Children, Teen, and Adult program listings, downloadable audio books and eBooks, and many other features.
