HYBRID CARS AND OTHER COST-SAVING APPROACHES TO COMMUTING.  This presentation will review the emergence of hybrid electric vehicles and examine the fuel efficiency that they offer.  The program will also summarize cost effective methods that can be applied to almost everyone’s daily commute.  Participants will learn how to carpool, vanpool, and use public transit.  A 2004 hybrid Toyota Prius will be on display as part of the presentation.
