Hurricane Sandy Brought to Justice
Dan Freed - Artist

Join Dan Freed at the Sussex Wantage Library on Wednesday, October 29th, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. to learn about the making of the sculpture, Hurricane Sandy Brought to Justice in Sussex County. The sculpture was awarded Best in Show at the 2014 Skylands Juried Art Exhibit. Dan will share the inspiration for the wood sculpture that came from the broken trees at his home left behind by the storm. In addition he will be showing examples of all the materials that went into Sandy's wild hairdo as well as the range of tools and wood working techniques used to create the art work.

This will be a fun and educational event for families and children of all age, especially for any aspiring young artists who want to learn about working with wood.
