2010 General Election is November 2nd
Release Date: October 14, 2010

2010 General Election is November 2nd

When the leaves begin to turn and the air is crisp and clean; it must be General Election time.

This year, the General Election is on November 2nd. We have some changes in store for our voters. With the arrival of the long awaited software upgrade, voters will find a whole new look to their ballots. The format is more graphic, and the first page the voter will see is an instruction page. Don't try to vote on that page; you'll have to press the "View Ballot" button at the bottom to see your ballot. The layout is very interactive and, most importantly, every candidate chosen will be listed on the Review page.

Here's another big change: After you cast your ballot, you will have to press a "Confirm" button to finalize your cast. This gives our voters even more opportunity to make changes.

Polling hours are 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. Your polling location will be listed on your Sample Ballot, but you can also find it on http://njelections.org. Voting instructions and a video of the new voting machine format can be viewed on www.sussex.nj.us.

Thank you for voting!
