VITA Program Seeks Volunteers
(Newton, NJ) The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program provides a valuable

 service to Sussex County residents whose incomes are $50,000 or below. The program,  

coordinated through the Sussex County Division of Senior Services, provides free assistance in the 

preparation of basic federal and state income tax forms, tax rebate forms, and Earned Income Tax 

Credit applications. This service will be available at various locations throughout the County.
Volunteers are needed for the 2010 tax season. Training will be provided by a certified public accountant and an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) representative prior to the start of the program on or about the 1st of February. The program ends by, approximately, April 15, 2009.   If you are interested in joining a dedicated group of volunteers in this worthwhile program, please call the Division of Senior Services at 973-579-0555 ext 1222 for additional information. You can make a difference in your community!
